Why We Wear Red:
Because Indigenous womxn are 12 times more likely to be missing or murdered than all other womxn in “Canada”.
Because 84% of Indigenous womxn experience violence in their lifetime.
Because 67% of sexual abuse cases involving Indigenous victims were declined by US prosecutors between 2005-2009.
Because on some reservations the rate of sexual violence committed against Indigenous womxn by non-indigenous people is 96%.
Because in 2016 there were 5,712 known cases of missing and murdered Indigenous womxn but only 116 were logged into DOJ database.
Because so many Indigenous womxn, girls and two-spirit people go missing and murdered that know we have lost count.

Super high quality materials and assembly. The stitching is nice and the material is a little thicker than a regular t-shirt, it feels heavier and more sturdy. The prints from here always look amazing and hold up to everyday wear and regular washing no problem. I love the quality and the imagery. It's powerful. It's well made. I tend to like looser collars, so it would be great if you offered it in a scoop or V-neck for the women's sizes. I always get my collars altered so they are more of a wide boatneck; it's less confining and means I can wear the T-shirt with more than just jeans or shorts.
The T shirt is made of very good quality cotton and I love the vibrant colour.
Love the shirt, I prob could have sized down but it still looks good. T-shirt material is nice and soft.
