Collection: STARBLANKET COLLECTION

the star blanket is held in high honour and given in moments where someone is seen, lifted, and recognized. it carries meaning beyond warmth, understood as being wrapped in medicine, held, protected, and acknowledged in a good way.

within nehiyaw teachings, the star blanket reflects a deeper connection. the star itself is a guide, a link between where we come from and where we are going. it holds teachings around relationship, responsibility, and our place within something greater.

growing up, weekends were often spent at kokum’s house alongside siblings and cousins. in the summer, much of that time was spent preparing for powwow, working on regalia, sewing, cutting, and getting everything ready for the season. it was also in those moments that we worked on star blankets to gift community members and honour them.

its magical to watch how pattern, colour, and intention comes together to create something meaningful. it carries a presence that is beyond what could be seen.

that understanding has stayed over time. this collection is grounded in that experience, carrying forward intention, care, and ancestral connection into something that can be worn in everyday life. it is a reminder to recognize and honour yourself, and to hold that same care for the people around you.
